A few suggestions

I've been thinking about EMF lately and there are so many ways we could improve our forums.

Currently, the forums don't have any requirements to be able to view contents, such as being registered, having certain amount of posts, threads, or even points.

Many reputable forums set various kinds of requirements (other than VIP statuses) in order to increase the number of members who will eventually turn from leechers into active users, contributing to the community as much as, if not even more, than older members. Otherwise, the forums will eventually more and more look like common warez forums - you come, you find what you're looking for, grab it, and never come back again, or maybe come back if you liked what you saw. Having a minimum post count requirement to be able to view certain parts of the forum is quite a nice thing to have. The fact that the forum is still young doesn't prevent us from being a high quality place.

Secondly, from time to time I notice a same thread posted twice or more times in different subforums. I don't know if it's possible but you might prevent this if you find a way to disable multiple content from being posted.

I'd like the rest of the EMF community members to post their opinions on these suggestions.

Didn't wanna start a new topic for this, maybe you should add the "Remember me" option upon logging in, this way we have to enter log in details every time.
