Thread Virus Protection? [got virus-removed it]
I feel like dancing with the stars :D

So i got virus called "System Recovery" and it was a real bad-ass virus :(
It disabled taskmanager (my darling), it made all my folders to hidden, it started to just log me out, restart my comp etc..

Then i turned on the nitro in my brain and fixed it :D
1. when it restarted my computer i pressed F8 and choosed "Windows no fail, w/ internet" (or what its called in english ^^) Then i just downloaded my dear little friend called "malwarebytes" and started full scan on my computer :)
It found 14virus'es i think, i deleted them, restarted computer.

Now im making all my folders normal again, and not hidden :)

It feels like virus'es on my computer is a normal thing, since im doing this every month :p

Will now find a good virus protector, and surf as a god on the web :D
so...

What's the best virus protector?

I personally use avast and it is free. Keep maleware bytes tho for manual scans. It is the best virus remover out there and its free.

I cant recall if there is only 1 version to download or 2..but either way pretty sure you can use it beyond that time but just for manual scans which is all I use it for anyway. I never bought mine and its much older then 30 days and I am pretty sure I installed it after they started doing the trail thingy

You shouldn't have to re-install it unless they changed it since I last used it.

Unless you have the paid version you can only manually scan your computer. Which means you still need something that is actively protecting your computer such as avast or something else
