I know exactly what you mean :) I was single for like 3 months while having the time of my life.. then I met my current GF, we got together and then a couple of weeks later, another girl told me how she felt about me and how she wished it was her that I got with...
Of course there has been a few awkward moments between us, but we are still best mates :)
