Today on E-Millionaire interviews we have Yousif Yalda who is the CEO of PKM. I have personally worked with Yousif before and can say that they know how to treat their publishers. He works around the clock to ensure payments are on time and that everyone is being taken care of. It's a pleasure to have Yousif here today, so lets learn more about what he does:

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself. How old are you? Where do you live?

Thank you for having me on your forum, Mike! I'm currently 22 years old and reside in Chicago, IL.

2. How long have you been working in this industry, and how did you get involved? What was your first money maker?

I started my career in affiliate marketing 5 years ago and truly love every moment of it. I ran lots of dating traffic through SinglesNet (now Kiss.com) direct in June of 2008 via Facebook Ads. Before this, through many years of graphic design and programming, I met a lot of people and heard about this industry by way of my client. I quickly did my research, made it my interest and went full time.

3. What is the most expensive thing you ever bought?

I've "bought" a lot of expensive advertiser bills (haha). Even when advertisers refuse to pay us, our primary goal is to make right and ALWAYS pay our affiliates.

4. Please tell us more about Profit Kings Media, and what you guys do?

Profit Kings Media was formed in April of 2009 and quickly rose to the top as one of the most reliable performance-based affiliate network. Our specialty niches include dating, gaming, and mobile. We are a very diverse network and cater to all of the popular verticals and pay publishers weekly.

5. How does PKM differentiate from the various networks in the industry and what do you do to set yourself apart?

While most affiliate networks simply broker offers, we keep our relationships direct. Besides this, we own internal offers that allow us to project higher ROI for both affiliate partners and advertiser clients alike. Weekly payments are made to all affiliates at NO threshold to help with cash flow. Our newsletters are filled with insightful tips and resources (not spam; industry norm) to help you scale your business to new heights. We stay working around the clock to service all of our publishers and merchants, unlike most networks who are offline by 5 PM. This is only a glimpse of what it's like at Profit Kings Media. The real treat is in working directly with us to know the experience for yourself.

6. What are your plans for the future?

The future is only a day away. We are constantly working tirelessly to advance the current technology, concepts, and understanding of user acquisition through online efforts. Profit Kings Media is here to stay and thrive!

7. Being an entrepreneur takes many hours of dedication and hard work. What tips would you give to those who want to take the path of entrepreneurship?

Stay on your grind. There are many distractions in life, but keep your goals in mind and apply what you learn. It's lonely at the top, but the view is remarkable. Remember this and start building your empire.

8. What are your favourite traffic sources? What niche has worked best for you?

My personal most favorite traffic sources are Facebook Ads, PoF (Plenty of Fish), Traffic Vance, and BingAds. I've had the best and most profitable experience running dating, health, education, and gaming niche. There is plenty of longevity in all of these verticals.

9. If you could give one tip to the newcomers starting out in this vast growing industry what would it be?

Now more than ever, the resources for breaking into affiliate marketing are endless. This can be extremely overwhelming to advanced-beginners. I suggest you choose 1 traffic source, 1 vertical, and start pulling out your credit card to split test for data.

10. Can you tell us some of your most effective marketing methods that you use to drive traffic?

Mobile-optimized Search and Display ads are gaining major traction and you can harness dirt cheap traffic this way.

11. If you could go back in time and do things differently, what one thing would you change?

Every battle is won through endurance. The fact is, that we've been in business after many competitors have fallen, and that speaks volumes about our powerful company structure. Any changes I have made in the past have shaped the successful future of Profit Kings Media.

12. With many new networks stepping into the scene which ones are actually thriving and why?

I have every right to be bias about Profit Kings Media, although I have to admit some of our core success comes from network to network partners that carry and distribute their own offers. These networks thrive with us because they create profitable back ends and grow untapped markets.

13. One of the biggest problems in the industry is fraud, how do you deal with it?

Publisher fraud starts at the application level. Combining personalized background checks and our in-house technology it's no surprise we keep the bad guys out. All of our merchants either prepay us for traffic or go through a rigorous banking and references check to qualify for any extending of credit. If I went into-detail we would allow these losers to exploit the industry, so this should suffice ;)

14. Lets say the internet didn't exist, what would Yousif be doing?

If the Internet was never founded I'd start offline businesses to supplement my drive for creation :)

15. Give us a little glimpse into what a typical day in your life looks like.

Early bird gets the worm. You can catch me up early with the birds chirping at 6:30 AM. I count my blessings in the morning. Breakfast is cooking thereafter, and a shot of Nespresso helps me stay alert. I scatter through my emails and IMs to answer everyone. What is lunch? The rest of the day is filled with making sure affiliates and advertisers are happy by locking in profitable deals. After ~7PM I start my cardio and weigh lifting in the gym. In the end, money never sleeps and neither do we.

16. Thanks Yousif, if there is anything else you would like to say to the members of the Emillion community now is the time!

Thanks for the opportunity to interview! I want the eMillionForum community to know we are launching another division in the Pay Per Call space and want you all to stay tuned for the upcoming launch!

Cheers,

Welcome to this weeks edition of E-Millionaire interviews. Today we have Brottany dawkins who is the affiliate manager for CPAInfinity. I have known Brottany ever since he started with Affillion and have spoken to him numerous times before. He is one of the best AM's in the industry and is always willing to lend a helping hand. Brottany helps many publishers on a daily basis and always looks for creative ways to help optimize their campaigns. So lets learn more about him and what he does:

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself. How old are you? Where do you live?

Well I'm 26 and I reside in Charlotte,nc I got started back in 2004 when I was 16 in Highschool I started with Ebay dropshipping etc and I started consulting in 2007, then started cpa affiliate marketing in February 2008 and it's been on ever since.

2. How long have you been working in this industry, and how did you get involved? What was your first money maker?

I've been in the industry since 08 I started with freebie sites and ppc with credit report offers also seo also I was involved in most of the IM forums BHW, WF, and MMD.

3. What is the most expensive thing you ever bought?

The most expensive thing I've bought was a david yurman necklace. Which I later gave to one of my family members as a gift I'm not into the "flash."

4. Please tell us more about CPA Infinity, and what you guys do?

Cpainfinity is a Performanced Based Affiliate Network we cater to the "newbies" as well as the seasoned vets we pride ourselves on 24/7 support and on time payments. We are also affiliates ourselves in the trenches running our own campaigns etc. I'm so excited for the future of our company.

5. How does CPA Infinity differentiate from the various networks in the industry and what do you do to set yourself apart?

With so many "here today gone tomorrow networks" we just stay true to ourselves and provide personal support to our affiliates and cater to their every need with so much going on in our industry that is what separates us you can call us on our cellphones, instant message us via AIM, Skype, or email us 24/7. We aren't hiding behind a computer.

6. What are your plans for the future?

Our plan is to continue our 24/7 support and to continue to grow and discover untapped verticals and help more affiliates make money we really don’t have to be number one because our reputation speaks volume.

7. Being an entrepreneur takes many hours of dedication and hard work. What tips would you give to those who want to take the path of entrepreneurship?

To me honestly entrepreneurs are born not made so to ANY entrepreneur I would say stay faithful to your vision and your goals also to network and hustle "will" beats "skill" any day.

8. What are your favourite traffic sources? What niche has worked best for you?

My fav traffic source is PPC because "speed loves money" Im being honest I have experience with seo and have done well and I have a few sites sitting on google but I don’t have the patience for seo lol, so paid advertising is my thing also niche wise bizopp and insurance have done well for me because of the "pain" factor that consumers have in those 2 verticals.

9. If you could give one tip to the newcomers starting out in this vast growing industry what would it be?

I would have to say if your just starting out pick 1 niche and 1 traffic source also don’t forget to grab hhe demographics, and then FOCUS on that 1 campaign and then optimize and scale. It sounds easy, but I see too many affiliates jump from offer to offer and traffic source to traffic source FOCUS.

10. Can you tell us some of your most effective marketing methods that you use to drive traffic?

My favorite traffic source is PPC I would pick an offer insurance for ex build a fresh landing page and make sure I have aweber on the landing page to capture the users email address and build my list and communicate. Providing value to the list and then email them my cpa offer on the 2nd or 3rd day and continue to provide value to my list and send them diff cpa offers in the insurance niche "the money is in your list".

11. If you could go back in time and do things differently, what one thing would you change?

If I could change anything I would have started earlier I made my first $1,000 at the age of 15 I would have started when I was 13 but everything I've learned so far has been a blessing and has gotten me where I am today!

12. How can network owners improve affiliate relations?

Hard work, Honesty, Integrity and get into the "trenches" their are so many network owners that don’t even know how to start a campaign and optimize, so Network owners treat your affiliates right they are the driving force.

13. With many new networks stepping into the scene which ones are actually thriving and why?

Your right so many networks are thriving and are doing very well "consistency" and "cashflow".

14. What tips would you give to our readers who want to become affiliate managers?

To ALL aspiring AM’s first become an affiliate get in the trenches pay your dues, network and hustle and one day your opportunity will come.

15. Lets say the internet didn't exist, what would Brottany be doing?

If the internet didn't exist I would be in the retail space(fashion, consumer electronics). I was born an Entrepreneur and I also like fashion so that’s what I would be doing!

16. Give us a little glimpse into what a typical day in your life looks like.

Typical day waking up at 5am cardio for an hour and then breakfast prayer and then check my to do list on my whiteboard and start contacting ad agencies, affiliates, and building relationships

17. Thanks Brottany, if there is anything else you would like to say to the members of the Emillion community now is the time!

I want to thank everyone who I have helped in the cpa affiliate Industry I'm not hard to find keep hustling and god bless!

Today I would like to welcome Nicholas to our community. With many years of experience in this industry Nicholas has proven determination, strong work ethic and passion. He has many successful ventures under his belt and works countless hours to manage them. With one of his most accomplished properties HelloTotem, he is here to discuss more:

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself. How old are you? Where do you live?

Thanks for wanting to interview me Michael. I appreciate the opportunity and hope I shake things up a little bit by sharing how us Advertisers think on an Affiliate’s forum. I am 29 years old and originally from Philadelphia. Three years ago I visited San Diego on a spur-of-the-moment vacation and basically never went home. I love it here, it’s paradise.

2. Nicholas you have quite an interesting story, can you please tell us a bit of your history and how you came to be doing business on the internet?

Like a lot of people I’m sure, I sort of fell into this industry. Totem was a complete fluke. I had an old, broken iPhone that was gathering dust. Thinking I’d make $50 of drinking money, I put it on eBay to which it subsequently sold for $223. The next day a friend of mine sold me his old BlackBerry off of a Facebook status for $150 which I quickly turned around on eBay for $300. Seeing opportunity, I began buying phones off of Craigslist one by one, building up a $300,000 eBay business in my spare time. Eventually, I outgrew Craigslist and launched a buyback site named cash4iPhones.com. I was fortunate enough to capture the attention of some prominent Angel Investors whom saw the same opportunity I did and believed enough in me to invest. As I grew Totem, I realized quickly the opportunity that my offer had within the Performance Marketing industry. One of my best friends and college roommates is a well-known affiliate and was able to put me in touch with some solid contacts. As the buzz for the offer continues to grow I’m fortunate enough to meet great new people on a daily basis.

3. HelloTotem is one of your most successful online properties. It's an easy place where people can sell their phones and get paid. Can you tell us more of your marketing methods that you used to drive traffic towards the site to get where it is today?

Our business is an interesting one in that we’re not selling…we’re buying. So the “sale” for us is actually getting a person to agree to sell us their device. Unfortunately, only about 14% of Americans know that services like ours exist with an even smaller amount actually taking advantage of it (although it is growing quickly). Because of that, we are fortunate enough to work well with a variety of traffic types. Email and Search are my favorites naturally, with Display and Social right behind that. Since a lot of people visit our site to window shop or out of sheer curiosity, I rely heavily on retargeting to stay in front of my customer.

4. Please tell us more about HelloTotem, and what you guys do?

Totem is a nationwide purchaser of used and broken smartphones and tablets, processing over 5,000 devices monthly. Our flagship service is for people looking to sell iPhones or Samsung Galaxies. We tout that our iPhone/Galaxy customers enjoy “Free” upgrades, seeing as that we pay more than $200 for their prior model phone. We are currently paying ~$250 for the iPhone 4S and about the same for the Galaxy SIII. Using us, consumers don’t have to pay to get the latest greatest device.

5. What is the most expensive thing you have purchased?

Boring I know, but my most expensive purchases thus far are reinvestments into myself and my business. I, unlike some, am a big believer in safely leveraging credit when it is extended to you. Why limit your ability to scale if the working capital is there to support it? I am an aggressive investor in automation and infrastructure for my business. The more ROI-positive tasks I can automate the better. While the temptation is always there to splurge on expensive things I thankfully get the biggest rush out of spending my money on things that will make me more money.

6. What are your plans for the future, and where do you see yourself in the next 10 years?

My future is definitely somewhere within the Performance Marketing industry probably as a SaaS provider however for right now 110% of my focus lies in executing on the Business Plan which I’ve raised money against and providing a great return for the people that believed in me. I love the startup world though. I’m sure after Totem I’ll do it again.

6. Being an entrepreneur takes many hours of dedication and hard work. What tips would you give to those newcomers who want to take the path of entrepreneurship?

Being an entrepreneur is easy. It doesn’t take a lot of skill to think of a good product or service that the world needs and I’m proof of that. Properly executing your idea is where the rubber meets the road. When you start off and you’re on your own, you will have to wear many hats…Ops, Finance, HR, you name it you need to know it. As your business grows, hiring a team you can explicitly trust and that knows a lot more about their respective field than you think you do is incredibly key. My top 3 tips would be:

1.	By far the most important…learn how to read and understand financial statements, particularly the Balance Sheet. You can have a profitable P&L and still have no cash. Learn the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement every which way.

2.	Scale carefully. Don’t pack a ton of overhead on to your business trying to make it better. Test things out before signing contracts and know that the purchases you make will make you a better company.

3.	Hire an incredible team. Know when it is time to delegate. Hire visionary talent familiar with the startup space as it is dramatically different than the corporate world.

7. If you could choose any person to be the CEO of your company for the day who would it be and why?

In January I am proud to say I actually DID choose someone to be the CEO of my company. I was fortunate enough to recruit a former Worldwide VP from Cisco to join us as our new CEO. I still remain as “Founder & CMO” however as our business grew in areas outside of my comfort zone (offline) I knew I had to bring someone in that could manage that and be a better “face” of the company. Now I get to sit around and manage traffic all day – who wouldn’t love that?

8. Let’s say you could go back in time and do things differently, what one thing would you change?

I would’ve taken my advice on scaling! We grew in some areas (particularly Marketing) too quickly and were locked into a painful contract. Also, it took us too long to get to know our metrics from top to bottom. Have an awareness of every single thing that drives a conversion to your sites from the bounce rate to the CPC to the profit per transaction. As you tweak little things and make half-a-percent improvements they add up quickly. With that said, such is the life of a startup…you WILL make mistakes. Just learn from them if they don’t kill you.

9. Give us a little glimpse into what a typical day in your life looks like.

I am in die-hard work mode right now as we have some pretty huge strategic partnerships in the pipeline. I’m in the warehouse from 9-7 on a daily basis. I typically then come home and work until at least 1:00AM. I am addicted; I love the rush of running campaigns and the fact that they’re my own makes it even more fun. I do some light publishing on the side, running both email and display traffic as an affiliate for a few trusted networks like A4D and AboveAllOffers.
While the extra money is nice more importantly I get to test a lot of offers and always find myself pulling successful components from their offer, landing page, autoresponder – whatever – to my own offer. While many preach laser focus, an awareness of your surroundings is also extremely important.

10. Thanks Nicholas, if there is anything else you would like to say to the members of the Emillion community now is the time!

The rockstar is here today! Me and Gabriel go way back to the days when EWA still had it kicking. Unfortunately things change, but Gabriel has changed for the better. He is a young man with many talents and someone who you can easily strike up a conversation with. Gabriel is the man behind Rockstar Media and he is here to introduce himself. Lets learn more about his business and what the future holds for this entrepreneur:

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself. How old are you? Where do you live?

21 Years old, Italian by culture, raised in Tuscany, of Romanian nationality. I've spent my first half within the beautiful Italy winning national karate competitions (my parents hold a collection of trophies with pride), going through school to realize it wasn't really the edge to reach the top in anything, we all learned the same things and were on a way to a regular 9-5. I was happy and excited to drop out when life actually required me to (while everyone around me was scared), even though I could score top marks in pretty much any subject. My teachers kind of knew I'd be able to make it I think, I was always "that guy". Spent the other half of my life in Bucharest, Romania, breathing business, talking to the more beautiful ladies and multitasking between European and Overseas friends. It's been a crazy ride to say the least so far and I've met people on all levels.
I hope to meet everyone again in the close future.

2. How long have you been working in this industry, and how did you get involved? What was your first money maker?

I've been involved in Marketing for 2 years and a half. The first money I ever made was with Clickbank sales, literally making money out of thin air. I learned about sales while trying to find the biggest money maker available in the Internet medium. Found out about the Cost per Action Industry and it seemed like the natural expansion from sales, a broader medium with more choices without much difference to the entire marketing process. The first CPA Network I ever joined was Neverblue. What's funny is I got into it without going through phone calls or anything, so I always wondered why everyone said it was hard to get into (which it actually is). I'd suggest working with top companies even if you are completely new but can follow the rules you're required to follow in order to be paid.

3. What is the most expensive thing you ever bought?

The most expensive thing I ever bought is land, the second most expensive thing is an apartment, 3rd in very close a Porsche. I have yet to take any bank loans to this date, I don't believe in buying anything with money I don't have - unless the bank is taking an investor position and sharing the risk with me.

4. Please tell us more about Rockstar Media, and what you guys do?

Rockstar Media, Inc. is the advertising agency that runs all the sales or cost per action traffic for the offers that I do. It's my first company ever and it really embodies my marketing strategy and the view I have of this industry as a whole. Rockstar means unbound and dynamic - while eyeing the very top. It's also appealing, represents a good part of my life. When I was actually just starting the company I became close friends and shared ideas with leaders in this industry, trying to shift things in a way that would speed my work up and create true ground for stability. I was quickly put in a power position.

5. What are your plans for the future?

The only fear I had growing up was not getting the funds to make the bigger things happen that I knew I was dead right about, which is why I've chosen marketing to fund myself, while further improving my competitive nature. During these 2 years and a half I've further developed a nose and instinct for sales and products making it easy for me to see which idea can largely sell and appeal, I was also strengthening and keeping my business mind in check solving all the problems. I knew marketing would improve creativity since the very beginning and help identify the profitable trends and industries that I could later get bigger with - that's exactly what happened. In the next years I'll be entering all the different profitable industries and business models I've spotted over time. My goal is to reach a plateau in each industry I choose, that is close to the maximum share I can achieve within that industry and keep it for long. I also have a few products closely related to sales that I want patented and mass scale distributed.

6. Being an entrepreneur takes many hours of dedication and hard work. What tips would you give to those who want to take the path of entrepreneurship?

As an entrepreneur your best friend is vision, your biggest enemy is running out of energy. The required skill is not giving up. Passion will keep you going, balance will keep you going but also happy. Understand what your priorities in life are and focus exclusively on those while maintaining a balance with everything around you, still appreciating the little things in life. It's very important to not lose your human side, I know that very well as I pushed money and personal relationships to the absolute maximums I could. I literally was in control of anything I wanted instantly for quite some time and a learned that it can be double edged as you can lose your vision when you need it most and cloud your judgement. As a young kid I saw how nobody was ever able to get something big done, without going through a process and having enough motivation to solve all the problems. Not giving up was obviously required to me. If it was too easy chances are anyone could do it and it wasn't worth much in the big picture. That really fit in with my nature and it's what made it fun to me, I loved being challenged to beat myself again or prove I could do anything and have anything. I believe that's exactly what embodies a successful entrepreneur - Not giving up on a vision that you know is real and there's ground for it from an economical point of view. Not knowing how to lose also implies cutting financial losses early on and maximizing profitable ventures. It's exactly why I was able to not have to go through mentorship or years long learning curves. I learned what my weaknesses were and refused to acknowledge them as a normal thing, I turned each one of them into strengths. I do recommend a great mentor though if you get one. Often I was analyzing something completely new or a business idea, figuring out problems that I may encounter in a real environment, and work myself around them from the very start. I was never surprised when I ended anticipating important events long before they hit industries and was already prepared to move on. Not knowing how to lose is what allowed me to beat everyone in direct contact sports from the very first start, I knew it was merely a mental game, endurance and a lot of speed. I simply strengthened all of these. Not knowing how to lose is what allowed me to work my way around the over complicated problems by using actually lazy solutions, to some it seemed genius. Not knowing how to lose is what allowed me to go from having absolutely nothing, to having everything handed to me. The odds have been against me since the very beginning and I was aware that it was merely surroundings and had nothing to do with my abilities, except it would take a little longer - that wasn't necessarily true. If I was to be born in the States I believe I would be driving a Porsche and wearing a Diamonds Rolex at 16, not 21.

7. What are your favorite traffic sources? What niche has worked best for you?

My favorite traffic source is definitely display. My first significant campaign was actually a social campaign, which I optimized on POF and thought that if it worked there - it'd work on Facebook too for more volume, which it did very well. I still think Facebook is merely a more detailed version of POF where people creep on everyone but have more tools to do so. I reached true stability on display buys and have done the best with broad offers, my favorite niches are everything that is tied into significantly improving people's life on an emotional level.

8. If you could give one tip to the newcomers starting out in this vast growing industry what would it be?

Go big and focus on one thing.

9. Can you tell us some of your most effective marketing methods that you use to drive traffic?

I've done banners linking to landing pages for what it seems forever and everything to me is basically that.Any image ad, text ad or video ad is simply an evolved banner and always just an introduction to a web page, your landing page or the offer's page, a quick pre-sell.

10. If you could go back in time and do things differently, what one thing would you change?

I wouldn't change anything.Perfection or not making any mistakes has nothing to do with real life or entrepreneurship.

11. How can a long term business build brand awareness?

By creating something precise people will recognize you for, a trait built into everything your business offers. Porsche kept their headlights since the very start and it wasn't by accident, 70 years old people recognize my car while I drive, kids do, people of any age do. Ferrari has a logo that appeals emotionally, everyone recognizes it instantly since they put it everywhere. Nobody knows about the cars with complicated names that are hard to pronounce and don't have a beautiful logo, legacy, or trait. Every single burger you eat at McDonalds will pretty much taste the same, the taste of it is perceived as a constant in people's lifes, they want it to be the same every time. It's why McDonalds won't give you the recipes or plays around with the taste. Every bottle of Coke you open will taste the same every single time, has been for years, will be for years more. Every time you see a rectangular green piece of paper of some exact dimensions, you'll think it's a dollar. You get the point. There's a memory for taste, logos and shapes. They bring some emotions up and memories to you every time you see them or experience them. If you notice Coca Cola has been heavily promoting their products at Christmas with the classic ads, have chosen to be the main sponsor at the Olympics and basically be at every single place and period of happiness in your life. You remember Coke's taste and have an emotional attachment to it as you grew up with it and everything around you changed - except Coca Cola. You feel good about buying it on emotional level and don't think of it as just another price tag, it's the key to their sales volume, beside deals with about everyone and brand extensions. If you ask me nobody would be able to tell a dollar if there also were also pink, yellow, blue, green dollars and had too many versions and logos instead of just one. It's about having some main trait people like, have them get familiar with it - and keeping it.

12. What type of research are you doing to find emerging opportunities in the marketplace?

I believe the quickest way to get all the info on what's making any
money is asking the managers working at the networks. Chances are if something is starting to work they will see it first, following the money is fundamental.

13. Lets say the internet didn't exist, what would Gabriel Zota be doing?

I would probably be taking a career around being competitive and working your way around things. I wanted to be a lawyer as a kid because they wear in tuxedos every day and simply work using their heads while making a lot. I actually asked my parents to buy me a tuxedo as a kid instead of the regular school uniform. I had a tuxedo paired with black leather shoes perfectly cleaned every day and a side part haircut, at age 6. About the technology part.. I remember getting onto the first computer and seeing everything it does, the sense of accomplishment you had with all the music and stuff there to quickly enjoy and knew instantly it was power and the way to reach the bigger picture. It was an entire world in just one place. Shortly after that I was exploring windows folders like I was trying to reverse engineer it to understand how it was working, opening all the .exe files to see everything it could do only to get some command prompt window that instantly disappeared. Was dreaming of building a windows or something similar as a kid and see it in everyone's house. When I've first seen how people could access a web address that was mentioned on an ad or by word of mouth, from virtually anywhere, I knew that was the way forward and thought myself how to get a website going so I could be on the end of the deal I wanted to be on, not just a consumer. If there wasn't Internet it'd be in the business where the most money is and I know how to be a major player for certain.

14. Give us a little glimpse into what a typical day in your life looks like.

I get up early around 8 Am, drink Lavazza coffee while I gather quick info about the businesses that run on fast cash flow, to see how they did overnight. I then check Facebook notifications to not seem like I'm ignoring anyone on purpose (I can get accused of being a bad guy if you can actually believe it), close it, and plan everything for the day to make the most out of it.

Today's interview is with Chris from Jolted Media Group. He is from the same city as me and we both share many similar passions in life. Chris is a visionary and brings a fountain of wealth to the industry. I am very pleased to have him here today and hope we can learn more about his ventures!

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself. How old are you? Where do you live?

I'm currently 29 years old, born and raised in Toronto, Canada. I've been on the internet since 2000 and took my first stab at an internet company back in 2001, while I was attending University of Toronto.

2. Chris you have quite an interesting story, can you please tell us a bit of your history and how you came to be doing business on the internet?

My first crack at the internet was in year 2000, when my parents finally decided to get online. I started tinkering with gaming websites without any real success, but eventually found my way. The story began in January 2001, where I came up with an idea among my high school friends that I should open a business to facilitate forwarding funny jokes, pictures and greeting cards to friends. From a simple hobby, my full time job and business emerged in the following years. Ever since then, I have continued to work on what we currently refer to as JMG (Jolted Media Group).

3. Jokeroo is one of your most successful online properties. It's one of the leading funny video, and pictures websites today. Can you tell us some of your marketing methods that you used to drive traffic towards the site to get where it is today?

As you know, the internet evolves really quickly and times change. At first, the viral effect of passing on funny pictures and videos to friends put jokeroo.com on the map. From there, our newsletter were the backbone of Jokeroo for many years, even till today. But once YouTube came along, the game changed. The newsletter became harder to deliver, and video become much more popular. Our focused turned to video, and although we didn't have the capacity to compete against Youtube, we maintained our expertise in curating the best viral videos online, and now help major companies like MSN and Yahoo! with the most news worthy video content.

4. Please tell us more about Jolted Media Group, and what you guys do?

JMG is a video content company, with a video advertising patent. We have a platform/marketplace to buy and sell video (Goodio), allowing our users to promote their video to up to 350M viewers monthly across our distribution channels (MSN, Yahoo!, etc) and we have a patent that uniquely monetizes video content without the need for prerolls/commercials.

5. What are your plans for the future, and where do you see yourself in the next 10 years?

JMG plans to revolutionize the video experience online. Starting from rewarding users for their user generated content and providing users with a video experience without annoying commercials/prerolls.

6. Being an entrepreneur takes many hours of dedication and hard work. What tips would you give to those newcomers who want to take the path of entrepreneurship?

Take risks. No risk, no reward. Also do your best to learn from other peoples mistakes, don't wait for it to happen to you.

7. If you could choose any person to be the CEO of your company for them day who would it be and why?

Elon Musk. Out of all the entrepreneurs out there, he manages to be the CEO of multiple companies and has a vision I completely love. He takes enormous risk and he does things that many people would consider impossible. He is the ultimate CEO, no border, no obstacle stands in his way.

8. Lets say you could go back in time and do things differently, what onething would you change?

Back in 2004, before Youtube became popular, I thought the idea of hosting videos for free was a bad model. I was completely wrong. Although it required large financial investment, Youtube revolutionized the video space, making bandwidth cheap around the world and allowing their model to flourish. I should of taken video more seriously, instead of thinking the costs were impossible to deal with. Nothing is impossible.

9. Give us a little glimpse into what a typical day in your life looks like.

I normally wake up at 8am, arrive at work at 9am. I do about an hour of reading online, making sure I'm up to date and current. I look for new trends, analyze our current path and make adjustments, everyday. I spend some of the day on the phone talking to partners, board members, clients etc. Above all, I work on product and my development team for most of the day; making adjustments to our patent technology, and mostly working on our product Goodio (bug testing, adding new features, talking to developers, etc).

10. Thanks Chris, if there is anything else you would like to say to the members of the Emillion community now is the time!

Today we have a special interview with a young entrepenuer who is taking the industry by storm. I have known Jake ever since he launched his network NotoriousCPA and he has been working hard ever since to be where he is at today. Even though Jake is still in high school he dedicates his time to his network and his affiliates. Don't let his young age fool you, Jake is a true hustler. So grab a pen and paper because this whiz kid is about to school you!

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself. How old are you? Where do you live?

First off, thank you for the taking the time to interview me, I appreciate the opportunity. As you most likely know, my name is Jake Antifaev. I am a 16 year old entrepreneur who is currently living in Vancouver, Canada. I really love internet marketing, the thrill of a successful campaign is an awesome feeling. Besides that, I am fluent in PHP, HTML, CSS and C++. Being an entrepreneur was always something I wanted to do when I was young, working at McDonald's (or for anyone) just isn't my style.

2. How long have you been working in this industry, and how did you get involved? What was your first money maker?

I believe it has almost been 2 years now. Honestly, I was that kid that wanted a fast car, I wanted to have the best of the best and show off what I had. Expensive things is in my blood. I couldn't help but research "how to make money online" - finally I heard of this stuff called PPD. It took me a while to get a hold of it and I eventually made my first $5 bucks! It honestly doesn't seem like much, however 2 years from now, it was definitely exciting. I eventually got into CPA and was heavy into content locking and gradually transformed myself into only CPA marketing.

I find it really crazy that 2 years ago I was barley making money online and now I own one of my very own CPA networks and have worked from the bottom of the chain, to the top. Just to let you know - I couldn't have started this network alone, one of my greatest mentors was Vish Vadlamani from FivestarCPA.

3. Please tell us more about NotoriousCPA, and what you guys do?

NotoriousCPA is a private CPA network that was started in the summer of 2012. You probably laughed when you read private, but I assure you - we are a pain to get approved with. We work our hardest to make sure that our advertisers receive the purest leads possible. My team who backs NotoriousCPA with 15+ years of experience takes business very seriously. We mainly specialize in gambling, dieting, email submits, payday loans and financial. We are not a fly-by-night network, we are a year old and try and attend as many conventions as possible to show you that we're real. Our offices are located in Vancouver and all our employees work there, we do not have any remote employees.

A majority of our affiliates are high volume publishers. If you take a look at our signup page, we technically do not accept anybody who is not running at least $2,000 each week in volume. 70% of our offers are all direct, 10% are owned/AOR and the rest are brokered with top payouts.

4. What offers are converting really well on NotoriousCPA right now?

Dieting is absolutely killing it. We're receiving hundreds of conversions daily with dieting. Garcinia Cambogia is king, and it's queen is definitely Green Coffee. Even though our network mainly specializes in gambling, we have some awesome advertisers who are providing us with these offers at maximum payout. If you are not running any diet offers right now, then you haven't realized how much money can be made with this!

5. How do you guys stand out, and what are your plans for the future?

I try my best to make us stand out from the crowd. We make sure that we have the offers to fit your traffic. If we don't have it, we will get it within 48 hours and have the highest payout possible. If you need something from us, you will get it. Private landing page? No problem. Amazing payouts? Easy. Entire automated script to help you out? It'll be done tomorrow. Like I mentioned above, we are not a fly-by-night network. We have money in the bank, we can float payments to you. We want to make you succeed.

I remember in another interview I mentioned that we are planning to have a content locking wing, at this time we have a custom platform being built for both the content locking and our CPA network. We have some serious financial plans in the works and will be presenting them very shortly. Unfortunately, I cannot spill all the beans, but I can tell you that MoMoney Media Inc will be growing very large soon.

6. If you could give one tip to the newcomers starting out in this vast growing industry what would it be?

Do not give up! I know a ton of affiliates that pumped cash in and gave up on their first campaign. Success is not overnight, you have to work for money in this world (unfortunately). Always ask your affiliate manager for help, they are there to make your campaign profitable. Remember that quality traffic is key, without it - everything else is useless.

Another issue I want to bring up is "gurus". Trust me, 98% of them are scam artists There is no such thing as software that can make you $5,000 overnight! If your tempted to pull fraud, not cool... Legit money means a lot more than money you "stole".

7. What are your favorite traffic sources? What niche has worked best for you?

I really like media buying, I have great success with it and loved it since day 1. My second favorite would be Facebook, and my third is search traffic. I'm not going to tell you my successful niches as I still run campaigns with them and would rather not have more competition. One of my most successful verticals is gambling. I have been able to really rack up the leads with gambling, I find it converts the best with my media buys. Dieting comes second as I have also had a lot of success with it. I am hoping to start mobile soon, seeing as it is most likely to become the next biggest vertical.

If you are looking for the best verticals, I would definitely recommend gambling or dieting.

8. Those who are interested in media buying, how can they get started?

Make sure you do research on where you plan on buying from. I have been ripped off on a few deals that seemed like they had excellent traffic, and it turned out to be horrible. Also make sure that you trust them! I've had false stats given to me, it wasn't a fun experience. ROI is your best friend, if your best friend doesn't look good - get them out of there! You are here to make money, not lose money. Lastly, make sure you know your offer... You are not going to place an ad for dogs on a dieting website.

9. If you could go back in time and do things differently, what one thing would you change?

If we are talking about my network, I would have definitely set fraud systems in place during the beginning. I'm not going to lie, I lost quite a lot of money in the beginning just from fraud. It was definitely an experience. As for my affiliate life, I wish I never fell for guru tricks. I wasted a lot of time reading eBooks and videos that were the exact same things over and over again. I wish I started everything earlier in life, I hear these awesome things like the Acai Berry craze that I wish I was there for.

10. Give us a little glimpse into what a typical day in your life looks like.

Well, I wake up at 7:15 - 7:45 AM on weekdays. I'll head downstairs and get my breakfast & coffee ready while checking my emails and the morning stats. I'll then head for my shower, get dressed, etc. From there I leave for class, I am still attending high school but a lot of my classes are formatted to fit my work schedule. Usually at noon I will make business calls and do things I am not capable of on my phone. After class is finished I head either to the office (if I am needed) or directly home where I continue work. My night ends at 10:00 - 11:00 PM then my day is over. Not the most exciting day, but it keeps me busy.

11. Thanks Jake, if there is anything else you would like to say to the members of the Emillion community now is the time!

If we haven't connected, hit me up immediately (jake@notoriouscpa.com) - other than that thank you again for this interview. Keep hustlin'!

Me and Alex have been chatting for quite a while now, he is very experienced in the work he does on a daily basis, and is a passionate individual. He is a very approachable person that is responsible for managing affiliates, and enjoys helping them out with any questions they might have. Cupid PLC is a global leader in online dating and they have many diverse offers that cater to age, cultures and social interests. It is my pleasure to welcome Oleksii to our community, and hopefully our members can learn a thing or two from him:

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself. How old are you? Where do you live?

First of all, thank you for inviting me for the interview, Mike. It's my pleasure to talk to you today and to have a chance to reach out to your forum's audience.

I've just turned 26, and I live in New York. I work for Cupid plc as a Business Development Manager. My major responsibility is to reach out to the affiliate community, keep in touch with people, promote our affiliate program, and recruit new affiliates. So I work as a liaison between affiliates from all over the world and our account managers. Even though I don't directly manage their accounts, quite often affiliates reach out to me with their questions and concerns. Also, I'm the one in charge of our affiliate program advertising.

2. How long have you been working in this industry, and how did you get involved?

I've been in the industry for more than a year and a half in total now. Honestly, I got into it by chance. In the beginning 2010 Cupid plc was hiring for its training program for new affiliate managers. I didn't know much about performance marketing back then, but decided to try since the opportunity looked interesting to me. The training was very intense but helpful, so back in 2010 I became an affiliate manager. That time I was responsible for Facebook traffic for our dating apps there. Later in mid-2010 I took a break from work and went back to school to earn my Master's degree. But in early 2012 I rejoined the company and has been working in my current position ever since.

3. Please tell us more about Cupid, and what you guys do?

My company, Cupid plc (http://www.cupidplc.com), is a global market leader in the online dating industry. We have a network of our own dating sites. The company was established in 2005 and since then we’ve built a base of over 54 million members in 58 countries. Cupid plc became a public company and was listed on London Stock Exchange (LSE AIM:CUP) in 2010. We offer a wide variety of online dating services targeted at different market segments: age groups, cultures, and social interest groups. We have mainstream, casual, and niche dating websites. The majority of services are also available via the Apple and Android App Stores, as well as through Facebook apps. One of the channels we use to acquire traffic is the affiliate channel, so we have our own Affiliate Network (affiliates.cupid.com) through which we buy traffic from affiliates.

4. What offers are converting really well on Cupid right now?

There are quite a few good offers across different segments and countries. Segment-wise, casual offers (such as BeNaughty.com and Flirt.com) still outperform our traditional ones (such as Cupid.com and GirlsDateForFree.com). However, our niche sites (such as LoveAgain.com and MatureDatingUK.com for mature people, BlackMatch.com for blacks, PlanetSappho.com for lesbians) are converting really good with the targeted traffic. Also, we've just added UniformDating.com to the list of our offers. The concept of this site is really cool: it's meant for dating for people in uniforms (within one profession) or for those who would like to date people in a uniform. It's growing fast and it's one of the most promising things in the future. Platform-wise, mobile is growing really fast and it's already as big for us as web.

It really depends on your traffic which offer is the best choice for you, but I were to name a few best performing offers as of March 2013 I would mention WildBuddies US, BeNaughty AUS and BeNaughty CAN for mobile, as well as Flirt/BeNaughty US, Flirt AUS and Flirt CAN for web. Overall, just keep in mind that we buy traffic from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, France, Ireland, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Belgium, Italy, Netherlands, South Africa, Brazil, and India; and that affiliates from any country are welcome to join the network.

5. How do you guys stand out, and what are your plans for the future?

As for the dating sites that we run, our vast product team works on improvement of our dating products every day, making sure that the dating services we provide are among industry’s most convenient, advanced, and user-friendly. We make sure that our sites and apps are a fun place to mingle and, eventually, to find a date for our customers.

As for our Affiliate Network, probably the best things about it I should mention are one of the highest payouts in the industry, multiple models of cooperation, high conversions, awesome promo tools, advanced tracking platform, timely payments and our trustworthy, as well as dedicated affiliate managers. We’re a respectable and reliable business partner.

Our plans for the future are very ambitious. Almost every month we add new dating offers to run across different platforms (web/mobile/social) for the sites that have proved to be competitive products in multiple countries. In the meantime, our product team keeps working on new sites that we're going to roll out soon. Our advertising budget is steadily growing, which means more payouts to our current and perspective affiliates.

6. If you could give one tip to the newcomers starting out in this vast growing industry what would it be?

I can underscore that traffic sources and targeting matter. Sit down and think where and what audience you should target and bring to our sites, so that your traffic will convert well. I've previously heard how some affiliates complaint that our sites or affiliate program aren't good because their traffic doesn't convert well. In this case I usually say: look, there are people who use the same sources as you do (say, Facebook or PlentyOfFish), but they make thousands of dollars with us and become rich. This means that they do something you don't. Don't send women who are looking for marriage and romance to our casual websites, or don't try to convince a guy who's looking for a casual relationship to register on the websites where he can find his one and only love. Hence, another important tip - keep optimizing and nurturing your campaigns. Think about ways to improve them, to find some niche where traffic converts exceptionally well. Dating affiliates compete very very hard to get good traffic and to sell it with profit. The smartest and the most hardworking ones usually win.

7. What are your favourite traffic sources, and why?

Social networking sites (Facebook and the likes), other dating sites (e.g. POF.com), dating blogs and directories, sites where men are the main audience. In general, you can think of any site where the audience in one or another way is interested in dating.

8. With volume are you guys flexible with payout bumps, and how are your payment terms like?

Sure thing we're flexible on this as long as the traffic converts well. The fact that it does means that we can successfully monetize our users. Since we're able to do so, we can offer our affiliates higher payouts for their traffic. In other words, if your conversions are above average we can discuss higher private rates. Normally we pay our affiliates monthly NET15, but if your commission exceeds $2,000 per week you’ll be paid weekly. In fact, once you hit $1,000 per week we can also discuss bi-weekly payments. We can pay our affiliates by check, wire, PayPal, or Payoneer.

9. Give us a little glimpse into what a typical day in your life looks like.

Interesting question :) Well I start working early in the morning. The fact that I'm several hours behind our AM team means that I have to discuss all necessary points with them in the first half of my workday. Throughout the day I have chats and calls with current and prospective partners, and I also go to meet people in person when necessary. This is not to mention that I answer many emails and requests related to my work daily. I also have to check multiple forums and blogs to see whether there are any questions/feedback about our affiliate network. Pretty much my entire day is about communication with different people. My workload is usually pretty high so it's not surprising that quite often I work long hours and get done late at night.

10. Thanks Alex, if there is anything else you would like to say to the members of the eMillion community now is the time!

I want to say thank you to everybody for their time, interest and for reading this interview! I know that Mike has built a great community of affiliates on his forum, and we would be happy to see as many of you guys as possible on board with our affiliate program. If you're a dating affiliate and looking for some good offers to run I can assure you that our offers are worth trying. We have thousands of big, medium, and small affiliates who successfully do business with us month after month. If it sounds interesting to you and you would like to join our network please feel free to PM me on the forum, email at alex.liman@cupid.com or Skype oleksii.liman Thanks again for having me, Mike, and my best wishes to everybody here!

Today on E-Millionaire interviews we have Bill Dorey who is the CEO of RevForceMedia. He has been in the industry for the past 5 years and devotes most of his time to perfecting his network. Its my pleasure to have him here today and tell us more about what he does, enjoy!

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself. How old are you? Where do you live?

First and foremost.. I would like to thank Michael Totti for the opportunity for this interview. I would also like to congratulate Michael on all his recent success! My name is Bill Dorey. I am 25 years old and live in Saint John, New Brunswick Canada. I am CEO of RevForceMedia. This industry is my passion!

2. How long have you been working in this industry, how did you get involved and what was your first money maker?

I have been working in this industry for the past 5 years. I spent most of that time as a publisher. Back in April 2012 we opened RevForceMedia. The growth we have experienced is remarkable and fuels my motivation to put in 15+ hours every single day. There is nothing more I would rather do.

3. Please tell us more about RevForceMedia, and what you guys do?

In the beginning, RevForceMedia dealt exclusively with CPA marketing. As we have grown, we have expanded into other services and spaces. We also do web development and internet marketing training services. We are excited to see what elsewe can encompass in 2013!

4. What are your plans for the future?

Over the past 4 months we have gained a ridiculous amount of momentum. Our main focus is to keep this momentum and push it to the next level. We are going to be the biggest network in the industry and we will not sleep until we are. Much of our success was not planned. We are ready and willing to take on EVERYTHING that comes at us. As we get these opportunities, new doors open for us every single day. It's about being everywhere at the same time and not focusing on one vertical or one specific aspect of the business. This industry changes daily and the excitement is phenomenal. RevforceMedia is very dynamic.

5. If people want to start their own affiliate network what sort of budget do they need and what tips/tricks would you give them?

-Good connections are very important when starting your own network. You can have all the budget in the world and not be able to achieve real growth. It takes time for advertisers and other networks to see your legitimacy. We all know those "Fly-by-Night" networks.

-Budget is also a factor. To get a decent start financially, 20-40k would suffice. It really depends on what you want for your network.

-Honesty is KEY. Someone you burn today could be your biggest client tomorrow. Upfront and honest business practices are essential.

-The last tip would be motivation. You need to be ready to get yourself out there. Pick up the phone before you message someone. Don't hide behind your computer. Social networking is massive. Your network may not be making massive revenue but you need to run it like it's a million dollar operation.

6. As an entrepreneur if you had to advise others on starting a business what would you tell them?

Don't stop, Don't give up, Don't Sleep, Don't look back, until your goals are complete. It's not about the end game with Money, Cars and Woman. It's about the path and journey that you need to get there.

7. What are your favourite traffic sources? What niche has worked best for you?

PPC traffic is hands down my favorite. Display and email are always hot. Call center traffic as well has been a big focus. Health and Beauty is huge for RevForceMedia. Weight loss especially. We have also been doing excellent with the financial vertical. We have call centers who run our credit reports as well as PayPerCall offers related to credit repair, debt consolidation and other financial services. Email submits are always easy bank. Download campaigns have been steady and we are also growing with Dating and Adult.

8. What was your biggest success to date?

My biggest success was gaining the ability to stop working for someone else. All my hard work in previous jobs in life has been to benefit someone else and their income. Having the ability to provide an income and a successful future on your own is the best feeling ever. Not only have I escaped the typical workcycle. I've built something that will provide wealth and opportunity for generations to come. I look at RevforceMedia in general as my greatest success.

9. If you could give one tip to the newcomers starting out in this vast growing industry what would it be?

90% of the people who try to make money online fail miserably. Someone told them you can make easy money online. That is the biggest misconception people have. It's not EASY money. You have to put in the work and time. If your method doesn't work, change it! Try another approach. Read everything you can about online marketing. The longer you are in the industry, the more doors will open. It's ALL on you.

10. If you could go back in time and do things differently, what one thing would you change?

Nothing. Everything that has happened to RevForceMedia has shaped us into who we are today.. Good and Bad.. Enjoy your victories but LEARN from your mistakes.

11. Give us a little glimpse into what a typical day in your life looks like.

It's what I like to call Perfect Chaos. 15 hours of work minimum. Between meetings, follow ups, new clients, existing clients requests, phone calls, emails, instant messages, I will sit back and smile. As busy as I am, as hungry as I am, as tired as I am, I enjoy every single second and wouldn't change anything. That is what I call Perfect Chaos.

12. Thanks Bill, if there is anything else you would like to say to the members of the eMillion community now is the time!

There are two types of people in this world. Those who THINK and those who ACT. Which are you? Go after your goals, stop for nothing and embrace everything! Thanks again Michael for this great opportunity.

The much anticipated E-Millionaire interviews are back! Today I would like to welcome my good friend Vito Glazers. I have known Vito ever since he got started in the industry with his company CPATank which has grown into a very recognizable network among affiliates. Vito is one of the hardest working individuals I know and without a single doubt in my mind he is going to take his newly launched, "Private" network OWN to a whole new level!

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself. How old are you? Where do you live?

Hey Mike, first of all I really appreciate you giving me the opportunity to talk to your readers, members of your forum and yourself about our new project that we have been getting going here for a few months. For those of you in the industry that I haven't had the pleasure of making the acquaintance of either Online or in Person, my name is Vito Glazers. I am the 27 year old CEO probably most well known for being "The General" of CPATank Inc and I live between Chicago, IL and Hollywood, CA. I love the weather and the ferocious competitiveness you come across being out in Los Angeles, but even though it's freezing half the year, Chicago is my kind of town and will always be home.

2. How long have you been working in this industry, how did you get involved and what was your first money maker?

2013 marks my 7th year of making my full time income Online. The past 3.5 years have been dedicated to my career promoting mainstream offers, but previously I worked more on the mature side of the Internet Advertising business. The first thing I ever made money from online was an E-Book about how to promote webcam sign ups. I had never actually promoted webcams, but they had a great referral program, where you could earn $5 on every sale made for life on any affiliate you referred. My friend and I packaged the E-Book into a "Work From Home Offer That Really Paid" and gave it away for free on job boards for people looking to make an extra $50-$100 a day online. Since the method in the E-Book actually did work with a little effort, and the company really did pay, we quickly built hundreds of affiliates under us and started bringing in some real money. Eventually we built our own program and subsequently grew the model to over $50,000 a day in revenue.

3. Please tell us more about One World Network, and what you guys do?

The One World Network is a Global Affiliate Conglomerate. It is something I have wanted to do for a while and wanted to wait to launch it in the New Year. I have several different web properties including CPATank, Hollywood Vine Group, and a new Private network that all compliment each other, and now with the One World Network, they are all organized for affiliates, customers, and our staff to easily work together. We obviously still are promoting the biggest offers in the affiliate space through our networks, as well as now offering full consulting services for small business to build their brands and web presence, get traffic, and manage social media campaigns as well as just about anything else a client could ask for online. We are really excited to start serving businesses and affiliates at this higher level.

4. How is One World Network different from CPATank?

One World has a few main things that make it really different than CPATank. First of all, we doubled the staff, we have 5 AM's now plus myself, when with CPATank we only had 2 or 3. Our Managers are all trained experts in a particular field like Mobile, promoting on Social, or promoting Internationally, so they are able to bring a lot more value to affiliates than other affiliate managers in the space who are typically just pushing offers without any real experience of how to make them convert.

One World is also much more private, our goal is to work with about 1,000 of the largest affiliates in the space on a daily basis. CPATank has over 10,000 affiliates registered and the service really suffered. Less affiliates will lead to improved service, but we also are working with fewer but higher quality Direct advertisers in order to keep things simpler for affiliates. We can get any offer direct and are growing our inventory, but our goal is not to have thousands of offers that don't convert, our goal is to have 300-400 of the top converting offers in the world all in one place with one guaranteed weekly payment.

Also, some of the things that truly make One World unique are some of the perks we will be implementing in the coming weeks and months. The one most USA based affiliates are most excited about, is the fact that we will be (as far as I know) the first Affiliate Network who will be offering Health Insurance to the most stable affiliates. It is something I have wanted to do for a long time, and now with the leverage of a much bigger corporate structure, it is finally something that can be delivered to help affiliates have better lives.

The last thing that makes the One World Network unique, is that we offer a Stock Bonus program to our high revenue affiliate partners. Affiliates who can do a million dollars of revenue or more with us will receive ownership and lifetime recurring income from the company. If you are a Super Affiliate interested in learning how you can turn the revenue you are already sending into a 1-3% ownership interest in One World with a lifetime dividend, contact me personally and I can send you more details on the program. In a space where all networks pretty much offer similar offers, similar payouts, and similar service, we are striving to create new perks and ways to show our affiliates that we appreciate their business and consider ourselves long term partners to their success.

5. What are your plans for the future?

The future holds nothing but great things for us. Besides getting all the new direct advertisers we have recently signed up added to the network, I personally have a lot of great Internet marketing projects as well as some extracurricular projects lined up for the next few months.

We just closed a sponsor to produce a CEOLives web series; basically short 10 minute episodes that show the way I handle different business deals that come my way. The goal of the show is to break down deals into specific formulas to share with our audience that they can then apply to their own businesses. Then we will show the fundamentals of different types of deals, everything from setting up advertisers, to pitching book publishers on getting a book done, to how to make money producing music videos. The series will show the formulas for various business transactions so viewers can learn from the fundamentals, it will show the challenges, the solutions and the outcomes; sometimes positive and sometimes negative. At the end of each episode we will recap the fundamentals for the viewers and teach them how to apply those fundamentals to improving their business. Hopefully the series will be fun and profitable.

Also, almost ready to release, are two books I have written meant for people brand new to Internet Marketing. I have noticed that a lot of people with little experience online have an easier time transitioning into the online space by getting into eBay before exploring more in depth internet marketing; since on eBay all you have to do is post products and they already have the traffic there for you. That's why I changed the order the books will be released in and decided to publish a book about how to run an entire eBay store successfully completely from your iPad or tablet. Once that book has been released, I will be releasing my more elaborate book on Internet Marketing which focuses on the 6 fundamental steps I have taken to build each of my online businesses successfully; 1) Overcoming adversity 2) Incorporating faith into my business plan 3) Establishing a brand 4) Developing strong Web Presence 5) Gathering targeted leads from social media 6) Turning your leads into cash through Email Marketing and Mobile.

Besides these offline projects, I will be moving full steam ahead trying to make One World Network the best network I possibly can, using CPATank as a training platform for smaller affiliates, and doing consulting work wherever I am needed. I am also looking forward to doing more teaching at Universities this year if time allows.

Finally, I do have one fun project I am working on currently, which I wish I could talk more about. Basically I am working with some friends out in Hollywood on producing a comedy, hip hop music video that will produce multiple recurring income streams. One of the participants on the project is one of the funniest actors in the world, Jason Mewes from the old Jay and Silent Bob movies. Heres a picture from the rehearsal http://i.imgur.com/cgayuc0.jpg

The project should be a lot of fun and hopefully make some money, if the project is successful we will be creating a division in LA that solely will be creating viral web content and soliciting sponsorships from brands. We will see what the future holds as far as all that goes.

6. Many affiliates are not getting paid on time and in some cases not getting paid at all, what can they do to ensure that doesn't happen?

This is becoming a really unfortunate and discouraging part of the business. There has always been scammers in our business, but now it seems that networks and individuals are finding it easier to scam or start ponzie schemes than to dedicate themselves to producing a legit business. Even I recently got scammed by someone who I was very good friends with for many years, so no matter how good your judgement is, it can still happen to anyone.

The best advice I can give now based on the lessons I have learned, is always get something in writing when the balances exceeds a few thousand dollars, anybody legit will have no problem whipping up a simple IO or even an Email with both of your names in it and a list of the terms. Also, don't let balances build up. If a balance is getting too big, insist on it being paid down before you send any traffic. Anybody who tells you to run more traffic and they will pay you from that, has already stolen or mishandled your money, so do not keep trusting them or you will just get yourself buried deeper.

I have a saying that is kind of sad but remains true to date which is; I like to have two kinds of people in my life: Friends, and people who pay on time, and I can live without the first.

Work with trusted partners. I have been in this space since 2005 without a single payment dispute going unresolved. We will be paying weekly on every affiliate who runs with us, so if you need a reliable home for your traffic, you can count on One World for guaranteed weekly payments every Friday.

7. What was your biggest success to date?

My biggest success to date is having started my own college scholarship. The endowed scholarship is called the Vito Glazers Scholarship for Entrepreneurial Studies and was created in partnership with Judson University in Illinois who has a great Entrepreneurship program. I recently got to meet the first recipient of the scholarship who turned out to be an amazing person who I am very glad I had the opportunity to help educate. The recipient actually had an incredible back story, he is 23 years old and a veteran of the war in Afghanistan. He speaks 4 languages, one of the languages being a unique dialect to Pakistan. The Marines used his translation abilities to decode a message which actually lead to the successful destruction of a terrorist base and further more lead to saving many American lives. He is a real hero and it was really great to meet him and know the scholarship is helping him get back to his dreams of being an Entrepreneur after serving our country so valiantly. Here is a picture of us at the ceremony we met at, I think he was surprised to see that I was only 4 years older than him. http://i.imgur.com/VW38nlk.jpg

8. If you could give one tip to the newcomers starting out in this vast growing industry what would it be?

My best advice to anybody is build an asset. Campaigns are great for fast money, but when it comes down to it, you have to think about putting in work today that is going to continue to pay off for many years to come. By building an Email list or list of opt in mobile contacts, you can develop a relationship with those customers that could lead you to profiting from the same people year after year.

Another really important piece of advice I want to share, is to always stay honest regardless of what you see others doing. Having a strong set of predetermined moral values will keep you around for a long time in Internet Marketing.

9. As someone who has experience in this industry, what tips would you give to someone trying to start their own network?

I think starting an Affiliate Network with less than $100,000 (minimum) in today's volatile climate is very risky and asking for trouble, you need a financial cushion to keep your reputation clean and your publishers happy.

Also, focus on bringing a unique value that affiliates need and want. Your affiliates will be less likely to leave you if they see slightly higher payouts elsewhere if you as a network owner or your AM's can help cut down the learning curve on specific traffic sources and help them get to profitability faster.

10. What are your favourite traffic sources? What niche has worked best for you?

Email has always been the most consistent money maker for me as an affiliate. Although I haven't had a lot of time to run CPA campaigns myself in quite a while, managing an affiliate network is still a lot like running a campaign. I use Social Media to establish our brand and I use Email Marketing to connect and build relationships with our affiliates. My "conversion" happens when an affiliate makes the wise decision to trust us with their business and starts sending traffic. Also, my team and I have had a lot of success with mobile offers. In the USA they are clamping down pretty hard on what you can promote and how, but International opportunities are still abundant.

11. If you could go back in time and do things differently, what one thing would you change? -

I would set up my business in a way that allowed me a little bit more free time, maybe one day a week off every 2 weeks wouldn't hurt. Unfortunately I don't think that is realistic right now. But as I always say; Better busy than broke!

12. Give us a little glimpse into what a typical day in your life looks like.

Lately it has just been a lot of work and no play. That is how the first 6-12 months of launching any big project go. I still manage to stay pretty active. If you want the details on the day to day you will have to tune into the new CEOLives web series when it debuts and see for yourself! You probably won't be too jealous of my life, even though I have some fun toys I really do take on an immense amount of stress, accountability and responsibility that is tough on anybody. I am grateful I have the energy now to be able to serve so many people in this industry.

13. Thanks Vito, if there is anything else you would like to say to the members of the Emillion community now is the time!

To the new guys I would like to say, don't give up. You don't have to be anything special to make it big in Internet Marketing, you just have to bring some creativity and persistence to the table. For those of us who are more established and experience, my last advice is to remind you to not get comfortable! Times are changing faster and faster and nobody wants to get left behind. And finally, to Mike I would like to say thank you for running one of the best forums out there and always being a true professional. Everybody I know sees you and has faith that you will keep doing bigger and bigger things.

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself. How old are you? Where do you live?

I am 41 years old and I split my time between my main home in Las Vegas and spend my summers and breaks at my home in Beverly Hills Ca

2. How long have you been working in this industry, how did you get involved and what was your first money maker?

I got involved in 1997 as an e mailer. I have seen it all and done it all : My first money maker was the "forever pager" which was a beeper (most you young kids probably do not even know what that is ha-ha) I followed that with an AOL Anti Timer and then Pc Sp (find out anything about anyone)

3. Please tell us more about xy7elite, and what you guys do?

Xy7elite.com was the first "select" Affiliate Network now in its 5th year. It is a network run by Super Affiliates for Super Affiliates. If you are a larger Affiliate you have a different set of challenges than a regular part time Affiliate things like caps, getting accounts, ie facebook, adwords etc cash flow, analytic tools, learning how to sign Io's with "out" clauses etc

4. What are your plans for the future?

We are heavily ingrained in mobile, to date we are handling over 35 million daily impressions with that number growing daily. we are also into app development.

5. What was your biggest success to date?

Our claim to fame is always being FIRST and setting the trend as that is where the money is really made...

First guy to do 1 Million dollars gross in ringtones in 3 days in 2003, Katazo ringtone that was then sold to Ringtones, net ( we retained a piece of the profits for another year)

First to do foreign redirect traffic monetization in 2003 (sold to a major search engine at insane cpm's) we still do it check out http://www.redirectbuyer.com

First to do diet with a product called Hoodia in 2003 over $12,000,000 in sales back then when that was unheard of.

First to give away Cars to Affiliates in 2003 Gave away a Porsche to our top Affiliate for the year he did over 5 million in commissions

First to start a "Media buying Alliance" leveraging joint buys to be able to secure better placements and pricing from major ad networks.

First to do Legal Leads VIOXX July-Sept 2004 our leads have turned into over $600,000,000 in settlements

First to open up an "Elite" network in 2007

First to do pay per call to grand scale in 2009 (handling tens of thousands of calls a day more than CJ and every other provider)

and many others.

6. If you could give one tip to the newcomers starting out in this vast growing industry what would it be?

"Successful people do what unsuccessful people are unwilling to do" Let that set in....If you are lazy and not driven by a desire to achieve and then over acheive. If you do not wake up with a smile and pop out of bed EXCITED to do what you do then go work for someone this business is not for you.

7. What are your favourite traffic sources? What niche has worked best for you?

It changes constantly currently we are buying heavily on leadbolt (mobile) myads (mobile and display cpc) lean.com and several direct site placements. best niche is solar power. check out get-solar-power.com

8. If you could go back in time and do things differently, what one thing would you change?

I would have used more contracts and trusted my gut a bit more. The times I got burned where because I trusted people and figured "they would never do that to me" well, money changes people and after a few large hits I have learned to make sure my interests are protected.

9. Give us a little glimpse into what a typical day in your life looks like.

It changes daily. I really do not have a routine as I currently run 7 divisions so I move around to where I feel I can best contribute.

10. Thanks Kevin, if there is anything else you would like to say to the members of the Emillion community now is the time!

Today we have a very special guest on E-Millionaire interviews, Stephen Stepanik. He is a young entrepreneur who has made a big name for himself in the industry with his company CPA Infinity! I have known Stephen way before I started emillionforum. He is the type of person who is always willing to lend a helping hand and is one of the friendliest guys I have ever spoke to. Jam packed with loads of information you guys are going to love this interview, enjoy!

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself. How old are you? Where do you live?

I've been in Internet Marketing for several years. I'm currently 20 years old and live pretty much in the mountains, in Pennsylvania. We get some beautiful winters here.

2. How long have you been working in this industry, how did you get involved and what was your first money maker?

I've been working as a network owner for about a year and a half as of now(December 2012), as far as working in the industry in general, for about 10 years. Started out as most doing the "Get Paid to". I still remember it like it was yesterday thinking of how I could automate it, scale it, and bank. I remember back when I was about 12 or 13 if I remember correctly LinkBucks, I created a program that auto-surfed the links, it was before I knew the in's and out's of CPA. I still remember how I "got in" to the "game", it was via Adult Friend Finder, sent out emails with their standard creatives that they offered along with a LinkBucks hotlinked opt-out link, so even off of the people that unsubscribed I still made some money.

3. Please tell us more about CPA Infinity, and what you guys do?

We are a cost per action(CPA) based advertising company. For those that don't know what CPA is, basically it's like this - Say Dell has a computer on sale for $500 and they want to increase their sales, they would come to us and say "we will give you $250 per sale on the computer" then, we will tell our independent contractors(affiliates) that we will give them $240 per sale on the computer. In the end, Dell gets more sales, we get our commission, and the affiliates get their moneys worth.

4. What are your plans for the future?

Our plans for the future are basically the same as every other company out there, not just CPA Networks, we plan to expand and grow with the changes that come to us. As we all know, things in this industry change on a day-to-day basis. As far as CPA / Internet Marketing go, we currently have a few of our own offers, we plan to bring more quality traffic to our current advertisers as well as our own offers.

5. If people want to start their own affiliate network what sort of budget do they need and what tips/tricks would you give them?

As far as a budget - it's completely and utterly up to you. But here is a rough budget plan for you.
You can go with one of the top level tracking platforms or one of the lesser known platforms, but the top three out there for the time being are - HasOffers, Cake, and LinkTrust.
Hasoffers has three versions, Pro, Enterprise, and Dedicated. For the purpose of this, I'll talk about Pro and Enterprise.

Pro is $280
Enterprise is $800
To see the differences, check out http://www.hasoffers.com/compare-features/

If you choose HasOffers - I would say have about 6 months saved up just to make sure you have a solid foundation / solid funding for your tracking platform. Also, keep about $100 on top of it just to cover any data charges.
Pro - $1,680 (+$100 for data = $1,780)
Enterprise - $4,800 (+$100 for data = $4,900)

Cake Marketing (in my opinion) is over priced, all you're paying for is the "name". The pricing is $1,500 per month and you have to pay for each click, last I checked it was 0.0025 per click.

If you choose Cake, I would say have 6 months saved up + $1,000 usage fees per month.
So that would be $6,000(for the platform) and $6,000(for the usage fees) for a grand total of about $12,000.

LinkTrust, If I remember correctly they charge $3,000 setup fee along with $1,500 per month. Also, I don't know if they still do it, but you can split up the setup fee in to 6 monthly payments which comes out to $500 per month, so you would be looking at $2,000 per month (for 6 months) alternatively you can do the setup fee up front for $1,500 along with the monthly fee which would be $4,500 for the first month then $1,500 afterwards.

With LinkTrust I would advice you having $12,000 saved up. The setup fee of $3,000 and the 6 months of tracking for $9,000.

As far as tips and tricks - there are none, just be honest with your business, it may be online and we all may be faceless salesmen, but treat it as a brick and mortar business. Treat everyone(affiliates and advertisers) as if you where meeting them in person.

6. As an entrepreneur if you had to advise others on starting a business what would you tell them?

Be honest with not only those who you do business with, but be honest with yourself. Make sure you can look at yourself in the mirror and be happy with who you are / who you have become, and who you are going to become. Realize the money you are making, how you are making it, and most importantly, make sure you are happy with the business you have created / are creating. Form a plan of attack. Be ready for the worse possible outcome whether it be a lawsuit, your company closing, someone stealing from you(if a brick and mortar business), or a massive fraud ring. Always prepare for the unexpected no matter what it may be.

7. What are your favorite traffic sources? What niche has worked best for you?

My personal favorite traffic source for the time being - is SMS.
My personal favorite traffic source of all-time is the age-old standard, emailing. As a runner up with the changing times, Social Media.

The best niches we work in are email submits, and penny auction for the time being.

8. What was your biggest success to date?

My biggest success isn't being financially successful, but it is being able to know how to learn. The greatest asset in life, is time itself. If we can harness the power to make use of our time, our success is limitless, the level of knowledge we can acquire is infinite. But as a direct answer to this question, my biggest success is my knowledge, of not only Internet Marketing, but Marketing and life in general.

9. If you could give one tip to the newcomers starting out in this vast growing industry what would it be?

Learn. Read, learn, study. If a method didn't work for someone else, give a shot, it might make you millions. Prime examples - Google and Facebook. Yahoo was out long before Google, but look at the massive force Google is today.

Facebook - There where countless other social networking websites out there before facebook, as I'm sure you all remember how big MySpace was in I believe 2003. Never give up on your dream, turn your dreams in to a reality. Make your dreams a reality and let them be known long after your gone, if you pass on, give your children the knowledge to be able to continue with your dream and maybe, one day, it will become their reality.

"A sale is made on every call, either you sell them on a reason they can, or they sell you on a reason they can't, either way a sale is made on every call."

10. If you could go back in time and do things differently, what one thing would you change?

If I could go back in time and do things differently what would I change? Not a single thing. For the simple reason of - everything is a chain of events leading you up to where you are now. If something was changed, who knows if you would be where you are today. You may or you may not, but me, personally, I wouldn't change a single thing because I wouldn't want to take the chance of not living the life that I am.

11. Give us a little glimpse into what a typical day in your life looks like.

My typical day consists of -
Wake up, before I'm even awake for 30 seconds im checking my phone for emails and texts, then check the network, see what's up. After that - hop on the stationary bike that I have for about 45 minutes, rest for about 15 minutes then off to hit the weights for about an hour or two, followed by hitting the heavy bag for an hour. For the rest of the day - work deals with companies, plan with our affiliates(big and small), and just general stuff of running a network.

12. Thanks Stephen, if there is anything else you would like to say to the members of the eMillion community now is the time!

Never give up on your dreams, whether it be making a saving bond for your children for college, or running a multi-billion dollar company. Never give up on your dreams. Be selfless(the opposite of selfish) and life will treat you with rewards beyond your wildest dreams.

As a final sign-off, I would like to thank you all for taking the time out to read this, and I would like to thank Mike for doing this. Now, get back to making money. Money makes the world go 'round.

All jokes aside today we have a very special guest on E-Millionaire interviews Rish from Obey.my. Rish and I have been chatting now for several weeks, and already I can call him a friend. He is a very helpful guy, and is extremely professional in the way he carries his network. Alongside his team they have outstanding support and provide exclusive scripts/tools for their affiliates that are just incomparable with any other networks in the industry!

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself. How old are you? Where do you live?

First off, I really appreciate you giving me this opportunity. I'm definitely grateful for this. My name is Rishab Verma, also known as "Rish" in the online space. I’m a 21-year-old entrepreneur from Houston, TX. I was born and raised in America, while much of my family is from India. I'm a part-time student at the University of Houston studying Marketing and hoping to one day to get an MBA. For now I'm trying to take it easy, as most of my time is dedicated to business. Business is my passion and I really enjoy everything that I do. It's a hobby for me at the same time.

2. How long have you been working in this industry and how did you get involved?

I first started affiliate marketing when I was 16 years old in the Incent niche. I admired the concept of how a standard GPT website's business model operated and I quickly dominated the niche. Since then, I've been an affiliate and network, aggressively testing every other niche out there. I’ve passed my winning campaigns down to my peers, who’ve ultimately became affiliates under my network. I've had a few different brands that I’ve represented at trade shows with our own booths. I’ve pushed immense volume with every brand. I was weak in previous business models and situations with business partners, but it really taught me the ins and outs of the industry —from compliance, to
managing merchants, to working personally as a coach with affiliates.

3. If people want to get started in affiliate marketing what can they do and what tips/tricks would you give them?

The first tip I would give them is DO NOT GIVE UP. The definition of an entrepreneur is someone who takes risk to make money. That's what this business is all about. There are UNLIMITED ways for you to make money online. Everybody will find their own hustle that they are talented at. Be ready to meet new people and network with them. Don't be afraid to try new things. The same concepts will always apply in any type of business. As long as you OBEY the concepts you will succeed. Focus on building connections, improving your communication skills, and dominating
your niche. Optimization is a key in affiliate marketing. Every little detail counts – whether it's tweaking your verbiage or a simple graphic change. Have a goal in your mind. Make sure you have a strong motivation to continue. Last but not least, kiss it. Keep it simple, stupid.

4. Please tell us more about your network Obey, and what you guys do?

The OBEY network brand was started in early 2012 by myself with one legendary programmer under my wing. As being an affiliate previously, I became tired of solely monetizing my traffic sources. My true passion was to build an empire. I put together an extremely innovative business model and quickly started the company with a massive float to ensure that we can handle cash flow for affiliates of any volume. The network took off with just a handful of high-volume affiliates that I hand-picked, coached and worked with personally. We quickly gained tremendous momentum
and exposure. Many other affiliates and networks admired our business model. I heavily controlled expansion by refraining from advertising the network while I built our employee/partner base. My partner and I focused hard on building winning internal campaigns to expand our portfolio to advertisers and have more to offer to our affiliates. In a nutshell, what we do is work personally with affiliates, give them the resources to succeed, and make sure our advertisers are happy.

5. What are your plans for the future?

With some of our business plans for the future, OBEY's momentum and success will be triumphing all of its competition :). We are bringing on more legendary programmers, opening up new innovative traffic sources, and launching a few new subsidiaries.

We’re also working on a serious financial plan to ensure that the machine is unstoppable. Our affiliates are always surprised by our early payments. We are very stable on our financials as we have a very comprehensive financial plan for the future. We are here to change the game and set the precedent for what an affiliate network should be doing.

6. How do you guys stand out from other networks in the industry?

When anyone asks the average network, "What makes you different from the rest?" The general response consists of "We have better offers/payouts,” “Dedicated AM's,” “We pay weekly,” “We always pay,” etc." When I'm asked that question, I feel that it's time to shine. With OBEY's business model, we are the real innovative affiliate network. Our team consists of legendary programmers, media buyers, business developers, designers, content writers and coaches. What we do that no other network does is actually HELP the affiliate monetize their traffic, automate it, and scale it. By that, I mean we actually develop the affiliates innovations, multi-threaded programs, scripts, landing
pages, banners – anything that helps YOU succeed.

In the past two months, we’ve built over three dozen programs, 100 web scripts, 300 landing pages, and more. Every program is custom tailored to what our affiliates’ desire. We’ve worked with them one-on-one to make sure that their campaigns have become more profitable and efficient. For affiliates with little resources, we even provide dedicated hosting and domain names. No other network has this business model. We are extremely well structured for expansion. We provide one-on-one coaching for PPV and standard media buying. We even have a sturdy internal media buying operation. Whatever our winning campaign is, we provide to our affiliates.

To top it off, we are cash flow sufficient and offer some of the most flexible payment terms in the industry. Everyone gets paid weekly. We are a company with real FLOAT, while the competition generally doesn’t offer a true float – only paying out when they get paid. Our top affiliates are paid twice or even three times a week for bringing us their business. We have absolutely no problem managing it.

7. What are your favourite traffic sources? What niche has worked best for you?

That's a good question. I've personally tested many traffic sources, yet have been profitable with a few. I would call Facebook a “cash-cow.” It's the most globally recognized source of traffic with a plethora of means to monetize it. Aside from that, I would definitely consider SMS marketing a gold-mine. It's a niche that we control and dominate. My overall favorites in order would be Facebook, SMS, classic media buying, and of course PPV.

8. What was your biggest success to date?

My background includes several business operations, however the OBEY brand has not only been the most successful, but it's become a part of my life. I enjoy what I do, and I put my heart into this company. It's here to stay and I would never divert my energy away from it.

9. If you could give one tip to the newcomers starting out in this vast growing industry what would it be?

As I mentioned a little above, I would recommend having the "hustler" mindset. Keep your head on your shoulders and you will succeed. The best of us have had hard times in life and have hit rock bottom, but with the right mentality, you are unstoppable. Aside from that, set budgets, build connects, make careful decisions and you will make any online venture profitable. The tip of the day is to OBEY.

10. Give us a little glimpse into what a typical day in your life looks like.

I'm definitely a family guy. My morning consists of spending some time with my family and pets. I always try to wake up early in the morning and try to get a little exercise in – typically a quick jog with my pug. After I take care of any morning activities, the rest of my day remains in the OBEY headquarters – our wonderful fun office. There I do nothing but pure business… oh, and my break sessions on the PS3 :P. I was putting nearly 20 hours a day into working, but now that we have such a powerful team, I'm able to get home on time, have dinner with my family and once a while make it rain ;) at you know where.

11. Thanks Rish, if there is anything else you would like to say to the members of the eMillion community now is the time!

Mike, it was a pleasure to get the chance to open up a bit about myself and the company. Some words of wisdom I'd like to say to fellow eMillion community members are:

- Keep the Hustle STRONG.
- Always stay positive and hold your head up high.
- You will probably NOT get into OBEY.

I wish well to everybody in their business endeavors!

Hey E-Millionaire's today I am proud to present Trent Silver! With years of experience in the biz Trent has worked with some of the top publishers. He knows the industry inside and out. So with Trent running the show BlastOffers.com is a must for affiliate's who want to scale their campaigns and make maximum profit!

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself. How old are you? Where do you live?

Hey Mike, first off I'd like to thank you for the opportunity to do an interview with you. It's an honor. I'm 21 years old and I live in Tampa, Florida.

2. How long have you been working in this industry and how did you get involved?

I've technically been in the "industry" for 6 years, since I was 15 years old, but I didn't actually start making any serious money until about 3 years ago, when I was 18. This is actually the first time I think I've told this publicly, but I got started at 15 years old with a penny stock newsletter called PennyStockEmpire. I built a pretty big, responsive list and began to have interest from micro-cap companies to promote their stock in exchange for compensation up to $30,000 and restricted shares. There's a fine line to running financial promotions legally and at the time I was more focused on chasing girls and being captain of the high school golf team, than spending tens of thousands of dollars on legal counsel to make sure my disclaimers and copy didn't get me mixed up with the SEC (not FTC).

3. Please tell us how you came about starting BlastOffers.com and how it works?

I've owned consumer finance offers since I got started in direct response marketing. I had a few publishers bringing me a ton of volume on my payday loan and cash for gold offers so one day I approached them and basically said "hey, let's start a network that we can put our own exclusive offers on." Not only does that give us ownership in a payday loan business, a cash for gold business, but also a network/agency business. That's diversification and growth in our portfolio of holdings :)

4. If people have more questions about BlastOffers.com can they contact you Trent?

Of course. I'm available 24/7 by email at Trent@blastoffers.com

5. What are your future expansion ideas?

I can't give away all my ideas, but I will say that I am bringing everything under one roof called Silver Visibility Marketing, or SilverVM. We have three networks now, a mainstream network called BlastOffers.com (specializing in our company-owned consumer cash offers), MonetizeDating.com (dating, adult dating and webcams) and InviteAffiliates.com (casino, binary options and forex). All of that will fall under the first division of the SilverVM agency called Performance Marketing Services. We'll also offer Interactive Services (online lead generation, SEO, PPC, email, social, reputation management, list management, creative design/optimization) and Traditional Services (direct mail, TV, radio, list brokering, media buying, consulting.) Of course we'll also continue to build out our own direct to consumer offers, such as TheLendingDepot.com, PhoneDaddy.com and more.

6. What are your favourite traffic sources? What niche has worked best for you?

I don't personally run my own traffic anymore...it's a full-time job that requires constant split-testing and optimizations on a daily basis to really get quality metrics. I let affiliates handle that now, but when I do want to test something out internally, I'll generally run a PPC or Email campaign.

7. What was your biggest success to date?

My mail-in cash for gold companies. My two gold offers were two of the top 10 cash for gold brands in the USA in terms of volume.

8. If you could give one tip to the newcomers starting out in this vast growing industry what would it be?

Work hard and be patient. And do everything on a shoe-string budget so you don't go broke before giving yourself the chance to become successful.

9. What are your goals for 2012?

Keep creating more valuable services for businesses and consumers, building quality brands and expanding.

10. Give us a little glimpse into what a typical day in your life looks like.

Wake up around 8am, answer emails while laying in bed until about 10am. Lunch with investors or partners around 12:30pm. More work until 3pm. Play a quick 9 holes of golf (I do this everyday). Gym by 6pm. Dinner around 8pm, followed by an iTunes movie and more work until about 3-4am.

11. Thanks Trent, if there is anything else you would like to say to the members of the eMillion community now is the time!

Work hard and build something you can be proud of. Thanks again Mike.

To your success,

I know you guys have been waiting for it, and its finally here! I am most priveledged to announce todays interview with Stephen Kerwer! Stephen is a great friend of mine and is very well known for his blog: Dukeo.com he has over 4 years experience in the industry and he is here today on Emillion to share some tips with you guys!

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself. How old are you? Where do you live?

Well, I'm 31 years old which is probably older than a lot of people in this industry... I am originally from France, where I lived in Paris for 7 years and I recently moved to hong kong to enjoy the South-East Asia climate, and let me tell you that it's fucking awesome!

Before working online, I studied Architecture for 8 years after high school, and as you can see, it's very useful for my current businesses... I'm just kidding there.

I know there is quite a lot of discussion about the need for a degree before starting to work online and a lot of the big guys are preaching that you should just start online without getting into debt because of studies. I was fortunate enough to not get any debt because my parents supported me until I graduated.

And even though it might not be obvious, my Master in Architecture is actually helping me with my current work. I learned how to see the big picture and coordinate people based on their skill set to get to the goal. Very useful when you start outsourcing a lot of tasks.

2. How long have you been working in this industry and how did you get involved?

I made my very first money online in a videogame by trading in-game items. This particular game had a real economy and you could exchange your in-game money for real-money: I made around $2,000. I realized that there was a lot of opportunities to make money online... But I was so much into my architect work that I kept postponing my research for other money sources online.

Then in 2008, I lost my mom. It made me realize that you don't have so much time to reach your goals in life and I should focus on stuff that could make me more money. I started my first blog, put some ads on it... and nothing happened (I didn't have much clues about SEO, paid traffic and all that stuff). I made some research about advertisers that were being displayed on my site and discovered the world of CPA.

At that point, I joined a private membership site (which is now dead), where marketers were sharing various tactics, ranging from white to black hat. I've never been into black hat (I prefer sleeping peacefully at night and not dreading ban emails from networks) so I just focused on white hat tactics.

I installed Prosper202, bought traffic from Yahoo and MSN and pushed it to a Green Tea offer and hit a winner on the very first campaign! The margin was extremely slim but it showed me once again that there was clearly some room to make money online once you know what you are doing.

At that point, I started reading every blog in the industry, registered with every single free forum and even subscribed to a few paid ones. I was working full-time as an architect during the day and working the night on my campaigns. I paid a big toll regarding health but this is when things completely exploded for me. I soon reached $100 profit per day, created a company to make my income legal, and dropped my day job as an architect to commit full-time to affiliate marketing.

3. How did you come across starting your own blog Dukeo.com

After a few years of working as an affiliate and having many successful moments, I accumulated quite some knowledge about blogging, affiliate marketing and making money online. I felt it was only fair to give back to the community that helped me reach this level of income and freedom.

To be honest with you, this blog is not only about giving back to the community, it's also a consequence of the way affiliate marketing works. I've encountered a lot of companies that tried to screw me by not paying what they owed. When you are not in the same country as the company it can become a complete nightmare when you try to get paid and usually they hide behind the fact that you are a small affiliate and you don't have means and time to get they to pay.

Having an influential blog in the space has been the best warranty for me to always get paid (usually on time). Whenever a company tries to use some bullshit with me to retain my commissions, I send the same kind of warning through email: "if you don't pay me within XX days, I will post the story on my blog. Do you want the negative press?". So far, I have always been paid.

Having a blog in the affiliate marketing industry also allows you to meet some amazing people, including A-listers, that you can never reach when you are one of the "small guys". I met with a lot of people: bloggers, networks, traffic sources; all thanks to my blog!

4. What are your future expansion ideas?

Since I arrived in Hong Kong, I started a second company with a biz partner. When you are an affiliate working with paid traffic, it's all about margins: paying less for traffic, and making more leads/sales. But what if you can own the traffic source? Costs get even lower! So, my newest project is developping a traffic source with my biz partner and manage 2 steps in the affiliate marketing food chain. Then I'll probably develop my own products.

5. What niche has worked best for you?

It's going to sound quite cheesy because everybody is already saying it, but dating is and will always be big. I've made a decent part of my money with dating and I'm still working in that vertical. Things are becoming more tricky over time, but you can still find some winners.

6. What was your biggest success to date?

My biggest success to date is not a number or a campaign... When I first started working online, I did it because I wanted to earn my financial and personnal freedom. It became a reality when I was finally able to leave France to live in Hong Kong. From now on, I know I can live from anywhere in the world while making a comfortable income, and just enjoy life at my own pace.

7. If you could give one tip to the newcomers starting out in this vast growing industry what would it be?

My first advice would be to start working! You can read all you want, you can spend days/weeks/months/years reading forums and bitching about everything and anything, but it's not growing your bottom line. Build campaigns, build landing pages, learn basic html/css nad possibly php/mysql, build websites, blogs...

Take action! Once you've tried a few things, evaluate them and pick the one things that shows the biggest earning potential for you, then focus on just that until you reach huge income. You can't master every aspect of affiliate marketing. The big affiliates out there are usually good with 2 or 3 traffic sources, 1 or 2 traffic types. If you try everything, you won't get anywhere.

8. What are your goals for 2012?

Growing my current company in France, getting my new company in Hong Kong on good tracks to become a huge traffic source and make tons of profits from it!

9. Give us a little glimpse into what a typical day in your life looks like..

I'm afraid I can't do that... It's not that I don't want, but I don't have any typical day. I usually wake up when my room is getting too hot because of the sun (I didn't use any alarm clock for the past few years except when I have a plane to catch), then I start working... until the next evening when my vision gets blurry of staring at a computer screen, then I either go to the gym, or go to have drinks or food with friends. Then it starts all over again.

10. Thanks Stéphane, if there is anything else you would like to say to the members of the eMillion community now is the time!

When people sell you that you can become a millionaire online in a blink by just working a few hours per week, don't trust them. Most successful people online work crazy hours each day.

Oh! and come read my blog from time to time, add me to your RSS reader or connect with me on Twitter ;)

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself. How old are you? Where do you live?

I'm Zac Johnson from ZacJohnson.com, and specialize in affiliate marketing, blogging and brand awareness. While ad campaigns are always a great way to make money, I especially like making web sites and building new businesses. I currently live in New Jersey.
2. How long have you been working in this industry and how did you get involved?

I first started making money online around the age of 15 and have just been killing it since, which has been for the past 15 years. Its quite mind blowing to think that I've been doing this for 15 years now. A ton has changed over the years and it's all about adapting your business to these changes so you can continually succeed and compete.

Amazon.com was one of the first methods I really started to make money online and discover the power of affiliate marketing. At first I was creating fun web sites just to pass the time and figure out how the internet works. Then I discovered Amazon's affiliate program and started making a few celebrity web sites and listed their books, cds and dvds on the sites. This grew into my focus for building larger celebrity movie type sites, which then ranked extremely well in the search
engines. I would then go on to earn six figure in commissions with Amazon over the next couple of years.

During this process I also came across some of the very early affiliate networks, such as WebSponsors, OnResponse and many others who are no longer in business, or were acquired. It was through these networks that I really found out about the power of affiliate marketing. I no longer had to make a sale through Amazon to earn money, but could instead get people to join a newsletter and complete surveys online to earn commissions.

I started to blend in affiliate marketing with my celebrity movie sites, then moved onto free stuff sites, then eventually created my own affiliate programs and merchant accounts through Commission Junction. All of this was during 1997-2000... awesome times!

3. How did you come across starting your own blog (www.zacjohnson.com)?

My friend Jim Kukral was always pushing me to make a blog of my own, so in 2007 while at Affiliate Summit I walked up to Jim and said, "You know what... I think I'm going to make that blog now". I thought about doing it for a while, but it wasn't til then that I actually started putting everything together. The blog has been a phenomenal success and has opened up so many opportunities. I would highly recommend starting a blog, no matter what niche or market you are in. It's all about brand awareness and creating a following around yourself or your brand.

4. What are your future expansion ideas?

I have some exciting new web sites and services in the works. As these progress over time, I will be launching them off ZacJohnson.com and letting everyone know about them. As mentioned earlier, it's all about finding what's next and adapting with changes. I expect these future projects to be some of my best work yet!

5. What are your favorite traffic sources? What niche has worked best for you?

Social networking traffic is always fun to work with, simply because of the massive volume and demographic targeting. I've run offers in nearly all niches, free stuff related offers have always been strong... from the early days with free stuff web sites, to free email/zip submit, downloads and coupon offers today. There is a ton of money in this space.

6. What was your biggest success to date?

Outside of all ad campaigns collectively, my blog has been quite successful and my MySpace free resource site from a few years ago was quite exciting and fun to create. I started the site from scratch and it ended up pushing terabytes of data (traffic) through the site. The site was so huge that I was paying $10,000 a month for hosting and had my own set of 16 dell servers to run the site. Extremely exciting and fun times!

7. If you could give one tip to the newcomers starting out in this vast growing industry what would it be?

It's all about dedication and passion in this game. I could tell you traffic sources of what offers to run, but if you really don't have a passion to make money online or in any business, you are already destined to fail. Nothing is more annoying than average people, friends and family asking you how to make money online, when you know they don't have the work ethic in the first place. People who make money online aren't "lucky"... they are die hard marketers who put in more time than anyone else.

8. What are your goals for 2012?

As mentioned earlier, I have a couple new projects in the works. My goal is to get these sites up and running shortly and become an authority site and service in their niche. You will have to wait and see when they are live :P

9. Give us a little glimpse into what a typical day in your life looks like.

In the world of internet marketing, no day is the same... you never know what you might be working on, having in your email or get side tracked with. I'll start out my day by going through my emails, checking the latest blogs and social networks to see what's new and interesting. From there I will check any running ad campaigns and write up some blog posts or work on any other projects I have going on. Nothing is a set schedule, but this is the normal sequence of things. The best thing about running a business online is that it's always running and you can work from anywhere.
